According to what I’ve been hearing from SDCC2016, Charlie ahead of THE DEFENDERS is rumoured to be appearing in both IRON FIST and LUKE CAGE Netflix series. As each show builds on the last going into the street level Marvel heroes, it seems Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones and The Punisher will be peppered throughout the other shows.

Hot off the presses. This is the teaser for THE DEFENDERS to come next summer. Of course it stars our own Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, and Kristyn Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, and by the sounds of it with the voice in the video, we’ll be getting Stick as played by Scott Glenn. This one is too far away for my liking. How about yours?

As expected based off of the critically acclaimed second season, Netflix has confirmed DAREDEVIL season three. This should come as no surprise to anyone, but IGN has reported that at the end of the LUKE CAGE panel, Joe Queseda confirmed it. This is coupled with a small sizzle reel presented showing some THE DEFENDERS footage. So we can all expect a good season three of our favourite devil from Hell’s Kitchen. Charlie and company I’m sure are thrilled.

In a recent interview Charlie gave a bit of an update on filming on THE DEFENDERS and a possible season three on DAREDEVIL.

‘Daredevil’ season 3 updates: season still unannounced as Charlie Cox preps for ‘The Defenders’

Several months after the last episode of “Daredevil” season two aired, fans are still waiting for further announcements regarding the release of season three. Unfortunately, there has been no update yet about the show.

Despite Netflix’s failure to give further news about the hit series, Charlie Cox, who stars as Matt Murdock/Daredevil on the show, is hoping for a third run. According to Chatt Sports Net, Cox is hoping to see “Daredevil” with another installment. He is also looking forward to having Bullseye (Colin Farrell) on board.

The only thing viewers can be assured of is Daredevil’s presence on television with or without a solo series. In a meet-and-greet prepared by Netflix in April, Cox shared that he is working on a new project titled “The Defenders.”

According to The Independent, the actor said, “What we do know is at the end of this year we’re going to be making The Defenders and, of course, Daredevil is very much a part of that foursome.”

The “foursome” includes three other superheroes who will join Daredevil in the search for justice and peace. The four “Defenders” are: Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and Jessica Jones. While not much is known about the plot and storylines that viewers will see in the upcoming show, many are excited to see how the heroes will cooperate and work together to bring peace.

It is then safer to assume that a third installment for “Daredevil” will most likely be put on the table after “The Defenders” finishes its first season. Though Netflix and Marvel have not said anything about the possibility, fans can hope for now that the attorney-by-day hero will once again be seen in a solo mission of protecting Hell’s Kitchen.

The Christian Times further notes that recent reports imply a delay for the upcoming episodes instead of a cancellation. This could be true since “Daredevil” has been a hit among streaming users and the show has established a strong fanbase ever since it premiered.

Well, not really. In a recent interview Charlie admitted that he has lost money while appearing on stage in the play INCOGNITO. The reason is his visa. He explained why here….

‘Daredevil’ star Charlie Cox is losing money on stage

“Daredevil” star Charlie Cox may soon be out of the red.

The 33-year-old Netflix star has essentially been losing money by starring in the off-Broadway play “Incognito” because of his visa status. But he will finally break even when the show closes on July 10.

“I didn’t have the right visa and I really wanted to do the play, so I had to pay a visa adaptation fee, which is basically the same amount as the entire run,” the British actor told Confidenti@l at a Netflix event at the St. Regis Hotel in Midtown.

Cox doesn’t seem too worried about his questionable business decision, which he says cost him around $8,000 before the first performance.

“You don’t do a play to make money,” he said. “It’s Off-Broadway. It’s not covering my rent and I’m in a fortunate situation where I’m on a television show and I know that we’re doing ‘The Defenders,’ which is a spin-off of the show later this year. So I just keep the purse strings tighter during the run of the play.”

According to Cox, living on a budget isn’t so bad.

“To be honest I’m not a big spender. I hate cabs, I take public transport everywhere,” he said. According to Cox, he rarely buys clothes and likes to cook, which help makes ends meet too.

“I’m not a big star so you can’t demand those huge paychecks when you sign on,” he said. “I do fine, no complaints. No residuals on Netflix of course so that’s … part of their brilliant business.”

Maybe it’s because he’s a Brit, but Cox has a Fourth of July tradition that’s also fairly modest.

“I watch ‘Jaws,’” he said. “It’s one of my favorite movies and it takes place over July 4 weekend. Two years ago I went to watch it at BAM. Last year I was with my best friends and girlfriend and we were in Norfolk and we’d been swimming all day. We rented a little cottage and put it on there.”

Season 1 Of Marvel And Netflix’s DAREDEVIL Finally Has An Official Blu-ray Release Date

Fans have been waiting for a long time to find out when the first season of Daredevil would be made available on home release, and now we know. Click on for the date, and to check out some cover art…

It looks like we finally have an official home release date for season 1 of Marvel and Netflix’s Daredevil. According to Zavvi.com, we can expect Charlie Cox’s Man Without Fear on Blu-ray from October 3rd, and they have a few different editions available for pre-order – though the box art is apparently subject to change.

Marvel’s Daredevil, or simply Daredevil, is an American web television series created for Netflix by Drew Goddard, based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise, and is the first in a series of shows that will lead up to a Defenders crossover miniseries. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios and Goddard Textiles, with DeKnight Productions for the first season. Steven S. DeKnight serves as showrunner on the first season, with Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez taking over for the second; Goddard serves as a consultant on both seasons.
