All I can say about that finale was what an amazing ending to a good series. The episode belonged to Charlie and Clare Dunn (Amanda Kinsella). They were mesmerizing to watch. And poor Jimmy (Emmett J. Scanlon). And, just realized I’m using a lot of “ands”….. Michael’s cold blooded execution of Eamonn Cunningham (Ciaran Hinds). What a great first season ender. Not too sure if there will be a second season, but what I’ve heard is there’s negotiations for it. Sometimes I wish they’d just keep it to the one season and leave it at a tight limited series. Given how good this show is I can’t see that happening. Oh, and how about that opening title with the blood red? Sort of foretold what would be happening.
Here as promised are the hd screencaps from the penultimate episode of Charlie’s show KIN. As I said in my Twitter account, I’ve been having computer issues. I have a 12 year-old laptop I do everything on, and it sort of well… developed an attitude. I wouldn’t do anything I wanted it to so I had to get it looked at. Then when I got it back, I got sick. Every year I get sinusitis but this year it was accompanied by one of my more lengthy and painful migraines. Those can last days and I was more or less down for the count for three or four days. When I got to this episode I thought it was getting close to the finale I thought I’d wait and do them together.
How many of you were screaming at Michael to turn his damn phone on? I know I was when Amanda (Clare Dunn) was trying to get him to tell him Cunningham’s (Ciaran Hinds) men were coming to the restaurant. WOW that was an intense episode. Here are the screencaps for this episode. The featured image is one of the very few times we get to see Charlie/Michael smile. Thought I’d treat you to that. Enjoy.
Sorry these are so late, but I was spending some time with my family and I just needed to take that time. So here are the screencaps from episode five. Enjoy.
Many apologies for the lateness of these. It took a little longer to edit these screencaps than I thought. Also I’ve got three other projects going and my time was a little limited this week. I’m likely going to be late for this week’s episodes, but have no fear. I’m going to go out on a limb and say poor Michael, though Birdy’s (Maria Doyle Kennedy) tenderness toward Michael is very sweet. I love this relationship.
