While searching the Youtubes for stuff on Charlie, I found this long interview with Rajeev Masand where Charlie talks about Matt Murdock’s flaws, his love life and his hope for THE DEFENDERS. This is a really cool interview with Charlie and he shows how truly sweet he is. I loved Charlie’s reaction to what Rajeev said about the discussion on message boards about whether Charlie really is blind. Charlie’s candor with regards to the question about religion is quite a humble thing on his behalf, as well as his admission to being a private person and not having all the social media stuff. It is for that reason this site will respect Charlie’s privacy and not post any photos of him in his private life. He’s allowed that, I feel. The other thing I found very cute was his telling about being an Englishman in New York. I’m thinking a Sting song at this moment, though I know that’s about being an illegal alien. Same thing. Charlie has let it slip who is responsible for forming THE DEFENDERS. Apparently it’s none other than The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen. Now who would have doubted that?

It Sounds Like [SPOILER] Is The One Who Assembles THE DEFENDERS

The chances of a third season for Daredevil are unclear as of right now, and it sounds as if the next place we’ll see The Man Without Fear is in The Defenders based on comments from Charlie Cox yesterday. Now, the actor has shed some light on how that team will come together, seemingly confirming in the process that it’s Daredevil who leads the team.

“He can’t do this alone. He’s been so adamant about being a lone wolf, about doing it himself, so I think that in order for him to get to The Defenders we needed this second season. We needed to see him be broken individually so that he can – he’s willing to form a team. The lesson that Matt has had to learn in the second season of Daredevil is that he needs help.”

That sounds pretty much perfect, and Daredevil taking charge makes a lot of sense.

After all, he’s by far the most popular of these heroes (though that could change when Luke Cage and Iron Fist hit Netflix) and you can understand why he’d turn to this lot for help against a threat as big as The Hand, assuming they’re the big bads of The Defenders. If they are, that will leave the door open to Daredevil season three adapting “Born Again” as many of us have been hoping…

Charlie has announced the start filming date on THE DEFENDERS. According to him they begin filming later this year with an airing date set for early 2017. Unfortunately there’s no word on a DAREDEVIL season three, but here’s hoping.

Daredevil actor Charlie Cox announces filming date for Netflix superhero series The Defenders

Netflix is hosting a two-day event in Paris, which will see the cast and crew of some of the streaming service’s most popular shows – including House of Cards and Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt – take to the stage for panel discussions and what has promised to be exciting new announcements.

British actor Charlie Cox took to the stage on Monday morning (11 April) to discuss Marvel television series Daredevil, the first of four standalone superheroes to be getting their own Netflix Original Series.

With season two having launched via the streaming service last month, the question on everybody’s lips was on a potential third outing for the superhero.

“We don’t know if there’s going to be a season three,” he revealed to a crowded room of journalists. “I certainly don’t know.”

Cox did go on, however, to announce that the planned Avengers-style series which will star all four of these characters – including Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage – is to start filming later this year.
